Guidelines (COVID-19 times)
The Board of Regents, through the UP President, issued a policy on how the faculty and students will react in relation to handling the courses during the 2nd Semester of the Academic Year (AY) 2019-2020.
Implementing Rules and Regulations
The Office of the President issued last 23 April 2020, an implementing guidelines entitled “UP System Policy on the Second Semester AY 2019-2020 in the Time of COVID-19”. The document cited the following among others as the guiding principles and reason for issuing the IRR.
- UP suspended classes even alternative modes since 17 March 2020 up to the end of the ECQ in Luzon and other parts of the country on 30 April 2020.
- The guidelines aims to reduce, if not completely remove, confusion as regards to its implementation and operationalization of the BOR policy previously issued.
