==Implementing Rules and Regulations==
The Office of the President issued last 23 April 2020, an implementing rules and regulations<ref>guidelines entitled “[https://drive.google.com/a/science.upd.edu.ph/file/d/1Vr_gF9ZX_gmxkY6G5dQIumKPqSDiX8yw/view?usp=drivesdk UP SYSTEM POLICY ON THE SECOND SEMESTER System Policy on the Second Semester AY 2019-2020 IN THE TIME OF in the Time of COVID-19] Implementing Guidelines (signed by the UP President)</ref>”.
The document cited the following among others as the guiding principles and reason for issuing the IRR.
* UP suspended face-to-face classes and remote teaching and learning using even alternative modes of delivery from since 17 March 2020 up to the end of the ECQ in Luzon and other parts of the country on 30 April 2020.* The guidelines aims to reduce, if not completely remove, confusion as regards to its implementation and operationalization of the BOR policy previously issued.
